Although the tourism is not very well developed in Karnobat region, there are many interesting natural and cultural sights.
An old fortress in the town of Aitos - one of the most ancient Bulgarian settlements, has played a major role in the defensive system of Bulgarian land against the attacks of Tartars, Avars and crusaders. A visit of the rock formation of 'Trite bratya' ('The Three Brothers'), the park of 'Slaveeva reka' ('Nightingale's river') and the ethnographic and natural reserve of 'Genger' in Aitos will leave in you unforgettable memories.
Karnobat is the other important town in the region. Sights of interest there are the fortress of Markeli - an archeological monument that reveals the rich and interesting history of the region, the natural-science museum, situated in the park of 'Dyado Dimchov bair', the historical museum, the local clock tower, the old Turkish bath 'sinanbeyoviat hamam', the black mosque and many others.
